Position Overview

Zynga is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with exceptional project management and organizational skills to join our Casino team. The Product Marketing Manager will strategically manage and execute live ops marketing for select titles, formulating best in class marketing operations and campaigns for live events.

As part of the Zynga Studio One (ZS1) Marketing organization, this position reports to the Lead Product Marketing Manager and works closely with other marketing channel owners and game teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Closely liaise with the product team and functional marketing leads to develop, and execute, integrated marketing plans for the live service.
  • Identify value propositions and key messages that bond the right players to our games.
  • Write creative briefs for internal or external agencies to ensure all teams produce outstanding creative which is consistent across all channels and resonates with consumers.
  • Coordinate and inform channel owners for planning and scheduling marketing events around upcoming feature launches, working closely with game and marketing producers to ensure timely production.
  • Be a “marketing ambassador” between the central marketing teams and game teams.
  • Work closely with community and social media managers to help oversee their strategy based on business objectives.
  • Track creative projects for internal or external agencies for live ops marketing campaigns. 
  • Support ZS1 Marketing Production with prioritization of art tasks and defining marketing asset needs and specifications.
  • Take on other strategic projects in relation to bold beats and marketing plans. 
  • Analyze performance of marketing programs to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to improve performance.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of related Product Marketing experience, with Mobile Game PMM or UA experience as a huge plus
  • A passion for mobile / video games 
  • An interest in and knowledge of Casino, Card, and Match-3 genres
  • Experience in free-to-play game marketing with a strong background of success and results across multiple game projects. Able to build go-to-market plans and execute against them.
  • Involvement with live operations for mobile games, a strong knowledge of lifecycle marketing and social, and the understanding of how these channels deliver performance for in-game events.
  • Understanding of free-to-play acquisition, retention, and monetizing key product indicators
  • Experience in international marketing strategies
  • Strong influencing skills; effective cross-functional driver
  • Ability to be flexible on a day-to-day basis with task priority.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

The pay range for this position in  California at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,500 and $100,000 per year. 

However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.   Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
