The position

Job description

As a Product Manager intern at Darewise Entertainment, you will support leading our ambitious game Life Beyond through the product-life-cycle by assisting our Product Manager and working closely with our Design, DevOps, and Production teams.

Ideally, your are in your final year of education, can commit to 6-months, and will thrive in a fast-paced and exciting games environment.

Please note that all positions are full-time on-site in Paris (due to the current situation, the internship might start remotely).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with teammates from other departments in order to define the game’s strategy and long-term vision
  • Develop product strategies and provide recommendations based on KPIs from market research and data analytics
  • Help setting realistic and measurable goals
  • Measure performance against targets to ensure that we are progressing
  • Work on the game’s roadmap
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback to optimize workloads and achieve quality

Preferred experience

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in game production / product management or studying towards an equivalent degree.
  • You have a strong interest in game development and the video game industry.
  • You are familiar with market analysis methods as well as the particularities of the F2P game market
  • You have some professional experience in product management or significant experience in academic or hobby projects
  • You have an analytical mind, are at ease working with KPIs and conducting quantitative analyses
  • You are comfortable preparing and holding presentations
  • You have a drive to creatively solve problems as well as high self-motivation
  • You are versatile and prepared to tackle many different kinds of tasks, and are at easy working autonomously.
  • You have a positive attitude with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • You have strong communication skills in English and you are comfortable working with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds as well as remote teams.

Also nice to have:

  • Ideally, this is your end-of-studies internship
  • You have some experience with GSuite, Jira and Notion
  • Personal interest in MMO games and virtual worlds

Recruitment process

Candidates for the internship will go through a CV screening, HR interview, technical interview, and a technical test.
