Position Title: Asst Producer II

External Description:

Assistant Producer II

Nature and Scope of Position:

  • You will take ownership of specific processes that are important for ensuring the quality, maintenance, and release needs for the game and business.
  • You will work with the production team and other teams within EA to ensure vision and strategies are aligned with needs of the business.
  • You will work with a team of producers, designers, artists and engineers to create and own compelling new features for upcoming The Sims 4 games
  • You will report to a Producer on The Sims 4

Responsibilities may include:

  • Ownership over game features
  • Work with designers to express vision and goals of game features
  • Review and approve game features as they are implemented
  • Liaison with QV teams to ensure testing process efficiency and quality
  • Field bugs and assess their priority and risk
  • Ownership over processes like release planning and product maintenance
  • Support the development team using proprietary tools
  • Coordinate play tests
  • Track community feedback to inform strategic decisions
  • Be the primary customer advocate, ensuring the best possible customer experience
  • Articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment/culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working on and contributing to the development of video games or other interactive entertainment
  • Experience working on PC, Mac, and Console games
  • Work in a team environment
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations
  • Detail oriented
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Experience working autonomously
  • Eager to sharpen existing skills and take on new challenges, both in processes and with pipelines
  • A lover of games!
  • Adaptable to process changes
