Senior Game Designer (World of Warships, PC)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Senior Game Designer who may bring his own expert skills to our worldwide project World of Warships, PC. The position is opened in our Meta Department. We are the strong team with good professionals at the different areas. Our aim is to deliver best MMO Action game for our players.

Work in our Belgrade office, we support with relocation.

What will you do?

• Developing and refining meta-game design concepts to enhance player strategy
• Analyzing player behavior data to identify trends for improving meta-game features
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and iterate on meta-gameplay features
• Holding meetings, brainstorms, and presentations of ideas to colleagues for feedback and collaboration
• Staying current with industry trends in meta-game design to innovate World of Warships

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in a team of game designers on a midcore/hardcore project
• Experience working with game analytics on a released project
• Ability to write clear and structured design documents
• Ability to present your ideas convincingly to colleagues
• Understanding of the specifics of hardcore audiences with high levels of engagement
• Extensive and diverse gaming experience
• English - B2 and higher, Russian - B2 and higher

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience working on a PC project
• Experience playing World of Warships
• Knowledges in mathematics (statistics, probability theory)
• Experience working with version control systems (Git)
• Python at the level of reading and understanding the general structure of the code
• Excel (be able to both process information and present it in the form of accessible infographics)
