Duration: 6 months (The end of June 2024 - The end of December 2024) 

Format: On-site 

Application period: April 15 – May 10, 2024 (until 23:59, UTC+2) 

Terms: Paid, 20 hrs/wk 

Step 1 Read the internship description and requirements; Step 2 Fill out the application; Step 3 Complete the test task and pass the interview; Step 4 Be patient: responses take up to 3 weeks after the application deadline. 

 

This position is under working student employment contract, therefore only candidates who: 

- are enrolled (matriculated) as a regular student at a college, university or recognized technical college

- have studied for no longer than 25 semesters 

- are not on a semester off 

- have not yet completed all required examinations (certificates) 

- will be students for the whole duration of the role, June-December 2024. 

- are international students from the European Union (EU) the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland 

-are non-EU international students studying in Germany who hold valid residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis zum Studium, 16b Studium)

will be considered. Candidates will be required to provide official confirmation about their college/ university enrolment.

What will you learn? 

  • Assist the Live operations team with the execution and QA of events and promotions. 
  • Report bugs and issues accurately using our internal tracking system, providing clear and detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce. 
  • Assist in regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure overall game stability. 
  • Collaborate with Live operations, artists, and designers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. 
  • Perform compatibility testing across different devices and platforms to ensure a consistent gameplay experience. 
  • Participate in QA meetings and provide feedback on game features, usability, and overall quality. 
  • Gain insights about industry trends and best practices in QA and game testing.

What will help you stand out? 

  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). 
  • Previous experience with game testing or QA processes.
