Role Description

The opportunity

Fostering technical proficiency and enhancing product expertise is vital to our customers' achievements. As a Instructional Designer focusing on video production within our Professional Training team at Unity, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our customers and collaborators to attain mastery through diverse learning methods. You will also assume a significant responsibility for advanced-level audiences across diverse industries, establishing your authority in training delivery practices. You will contribute to the enhancement of our training materials, as well as working closely with our network of trainers within the Unity Certified Instructor program. This all impacts the education of learners across a range of professional learning settings.

What you'll be doing

  • Grow and support the development of training plans and materials, while identifying key training requirements based on market needs identified by our go-to-market team
  • Contribute to the development of course outlines and training scenarios to meet customer needs across industries using Unity
  • Ensure content is ready for both on-demand and instructor-led delivery and perform content maintenance in collaboration with subject matter experts and technical teams
  • Keep up to date with all areas of Unity product development, features, and future roadmap on a regular basis
  • Plan, produce, and edit video content to support our growing catalog of on-demand courses

What we're looking for

  • Experience in delivering technical training to professional learners
  • Experience in using Unity in a production environment
  • Training course development and delivery experience for professional audiences
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience as an instructional designer, technology-enabled teaching, or education related role with a strong portfolio showcasing your video production and e-learning content development skills

  • Unity Certifications
  • Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing video game projects
  • Experience in C# or RT3D development outside of games, such as interactive entertainment, creative application development, or other areas
