The AR Products team at Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead technical program management across several concurrent work streams. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal machine learning, software & hardware engineers, researchers, external partners, and vendors to help define requirements and deliverables, schedule and track project progress, coordinate with other internal teams, schedule shared resources, and manage partner relationships. To be successful, you will be eliminating barriers to your team's success, clearly communicating their work to all stakeholders and ensuring the big picture stays in focus while maintaining deep understanding of specific issues. Ideal candidates are adaptable and resilient, eager to attack unfamiliar problems with curiosity and tenacity, and able to use a light touch to help the team be more efficient.
Technical Program Manager, AR Products Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functionally to define schedule, requirements, resource plans, integration plans, prioritize initiatives, and proactively identify/address potential setbacks
  • Create processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficiently
  • Work with engineering, research, and partnership teams to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area
  • Maintain the team's focus on strategy and goal-oriented results when tackling complex problems
  • Communicate program status, risks and mitigation plans on a regular cadence, including directly to leadership. Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for review by all parts of the organization
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of technical program management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex and ambiguous machine learning projects with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience building and managing relationships across teams in the organization and with external vendors and partners
  • B.S. in Computer Science, EE or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience organizing complex and long term research or product road maps
  • Experience coordinating development of consumer applications
  • Knowledge in managing software resource usage such as performance, memory use, application size, etc.
  • Prior experience with building and shipping wearable products & running privacy initiatives
  • Experience working on user data collection efforts

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
