Director of Content Design - Monopoly GO!

Description

Scopely is looking for a Director of Content Design to serve on and elevate our new game Monopoly Go! in Seville (Spain) on a hybrid basis (we will be open to discuss remote within Spain, Israel or UK).

Monopoly Go! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become one of Scopely’s largest games with more than 2.5M DAUs. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

What You'll Do

• Lead and scale an already growing content team to ensure the content needs of Monopoly Go are met.
• Work closely with the product, design and art teams and contribute to the player experience by ideating, creating and implementing high-quality content for the game
• Help to create and maintain a content roadmap that aligns with a clear content strategy and supports business goals
• Work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with multiple verticals running simultaneously
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the mobile gaming industry and implement current trends and best practices in our content design
• Familiarity with localization and text database tools
• Set the industry benchmark for content quality and innovation
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A Head of Content with extensive experience in content creation on mobile games
• Experienced in working on live and content-heavy games
• A proven eye for industry leading quality and visual consistency.
• Ability to work closely with product, design and art teams to ensure content aligns with intended player experiences and artistic quality bar.
• Ability to work effectively with remote or global teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with team members is multiple time-zones
• Previous experience working with Licensed IP based content
• Ability to travel to Spain for occasional team offsites
• Willingness to get your hands dirty at all levels of content production
