Scopely is looking for a Senior Localization Producer to join our Central Localization Team in our Mexico Hub on a hybrid basis!

The Central Localization team operates at a central level as part of the Studio Operations Team in an advisory and supportive capacity for Localization and LQA across the Scopely portfolio.

What You Will Do

  • Work within the Scopely Localization program to support all of Scopely’s teams to reach an excellent Localized Player experience for on-game or off-game content for all titles
  • Ensure that development practices across Scopely’s portfolio incorporate internationalization and global mindset as part of the core planning and execution for all platforms
  • Consistently level up game teams to strengthen the Localization process by addressing and solving issues in the process through influencing and advocating on behalf of the Localization Program
  • Manage external Localization partner(s), improve processes, manage expectations and keep a constant close eye on quality input and output.
  • Establish KPIs and measure Localization partner performance
  • Continuously work on capturing learnings about the overall Localization process and quality and identify areas of improvement at game team / studio level. Share lessons and solutions at Scopely portfolio level
  • Liaise with game teams, central Scopely technology orgs, partners and vendors to maximize operability, efficiency and quality through efficient use of tools and technology for Localization and LQA
  • Stay up to date on latest trends for Localization and LQA and make recommendations to the business on adoption of new ideas


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years as a Localization producer, program manager, project manager or engineer in a gaming studio or a globally shipped entertainment or technical product
  • Excellent analytical skills: understanding, simplifying, and solving problems
  • Strong ability to experiment and troubleshoot, desire to explore new trends
  • Experience with standard project management methodologies and tools
  • In-depth knowledge of Localization content management systems (CMS Tools) and media Localization tools (CAT Tools)
  • Solutions oriented and committed to fixing not only issues internally but with partner studios and vendors as well
  • Experience shipping games or creative products with a large number of active users to global regions or experience in a central function supporting game teams in this capacity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on building productive and positive relationships with internal and external partners, managers and peers.
  • Strong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business
