Senior UI Artist (Unannounced project)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled UI Artist to join our game development team. As a UI Artist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the look & feel of our AAA games interfaces. Working closely with our UX Design team, Art Director, and Art team you ensure the successful integration of your designs ranging between everything from front-end to in-game.

What will you do?

• Be responsible for upholding the UI designs to AAA standards

• Collaborate with the UX Designers, Art Director, and the Art team on UI designs

• Develop, maintain, and iterate on the UI art style

• Elevate existing UI designs to a next level

• Create high-quality UI art assets (screens, illustrations, iconography, graphics) from concept to finalised product

• Create motion graphic design / UI animations that bring the UI to life

• Provide guidance, documentation, and support to UI developers to make sure your vision gets implemented correctly

What are we looking for?

• Experience in game development industry

• A passion for video games and a deep understanding of how seamless, intuitive, and visually attractive interfaces contribute to the immersive experience of the game world

• A diverse portfolio showcasing exceptional UI Art covering layout and hierarchy, colour and contrast, typography and legibility, illustration and iconography, animation / motion graphic design

• A solid understanding of UI Design principles

• The ability to work proactively and autonomously

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other designers and artists

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Cross platform development experience

• Accessibility design experience

• Live Service games experience

• Prior working experience with front end developers

• An art background and/or education
