Arkane Lyon is developing the upcoming title Marvel’s Blade, a third person, single player, action-adventure set in the heart of Paris. The game is based on the comic book hero Blade and will feature an original story with the studio’s signature immersive gameplay and world-class narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and maintain the rendering modules of the game engine
  • Develop shaders and quality effects to support the Art direction and unique visual style of the game
  • Optimize the rendering code to get the best performance on all platforms
  • Write clear, maintenable, portable C++ code
  • Write and maintain custom shaders across a range of hardware
  • Work well with other engineers, artists and designers

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++
  • Strong interest in rendering algorithms
  • Good knowledge of all low-level graphics APIs
  • Ability to debug graphics using pix, renderdoc or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of real-time and multi-threaded systems
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and English
