What We Need

2K’s Creative Technology team is focused on empowering creatives with cutting edge technology, tools and processes to take our gameplay and trailer production to a whole new level. 

We work across a range of 2K titles and products, testing and developing new tools to streamline and elevate our creative marketing outputs. Under the guidance of the Snr Creative Tech Artist, you will learn the fundamentals of source control and develop a solid understanding of coding standards, design patterns, problem solving and critical thinking.

Communication is important as you liaise with creatives to understand and convert complex challenges into practical solutions that will have a real impact not only the business, but the industry as a whole.

You should have experience working with Unreal Engine blueprints and be able to demonstrate proficiency in C++, C# or Python. You should also be proficient in and possess a solid understanding of gameplay capture, trailer production and cinematic timelines in Unreal Engine or Unity. 

 

What You’ll Do

As a Creative Tech Artist, you will collaborate with development teams to integrate cinematic and animation tools into our many different titles enabling our creative teams to develop bespoke content for trailer and marketing campaigns. You will also support these creatives with capture, trailer or cinematic production as well as troubleshooting and solving issues, updating tools and proving out new capabilities.

Your day to day activities will involve:

  • Meeting with creatives and developers
  • Reviewing and write code
  • Propose solutions
  • Triage errors
  • Testing tools
  • Capturing gameplay
  • Editing trailers
  • Collaborating on cinematics
  • Technical writing

 

What Will Make You A Great Fit 

The ideal candidate should be proactive, curious and inventive. Always willing to explore solutions and ready to pivot when it makes sense to change direction.

They should be comfortable operating as part of a larger team and able to handle shifting between different projects on a daily basis.
