Scopely is looking for a Director, Strategic Partnerships to join our Publishing team!

The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for managing the relationships with our largest distribution partners around the world. Through these relationships, the team is responsible for creating and executing a strategy for each platform that drives both distribution and revenue growth for Scopely’s portfolio of games.

What You Will Do

The Director Strategic Partnerships will lead our efforts to develop in game and out of game marketing and gameplay collaborations with AAA brands, IP, and talent. Collaborations are focused on exciting our current players as well as attracting new audiences to Monopoly GO! by partnering with brands they love that are a natural fit with the Monopoly brand. This person has a track record of delivering compelling cross promotions and product partnerships for global brands, as well as targeted regional markets; and a result driven business driver.

  • Develop a framework for evaluating and valuing partner opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with top brands that can result in 4-5 AAA programs per year
  • Collaborate with creative and product teams on concepting integrations and collaborations
  • Drive partner negotiations that create exceptional value while also developing long term recurring partnerships
  • Collaborate on defining and forecasting audience and business goals for Monopoly GO partnerships to insure a strong ROI
  • Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders within the Monopoly GO Product Marketing and game teams to identify needs in the product roadmap that support partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with the Monopoly GO Brand, Performance, Creative, BD, and PR teams


What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years experience in entertainment and brand partnerships
  • Demonstrable experience in collaborative leadership in mid to large organizations with a matrixed organization
  • Gaming experience preferred
  • Passion & love for video games
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
  • Ability to analyze data to make data-driven decisions - skills in Excel and Google Sheets necessary
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - Keynote, Powerpoint, or Google Slides skills required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required


For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $164,000 - $247,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
