Scopely is looking for a Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships to join our Publishing team!

The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for managing the relationships with our largest distribution partners around the world. Through these relationships, the team is responsible for creating and executing a strategy for each platform that drives both distribution and revenue growth for Scopely’s portfolio of games.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the SVP Publishing, the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for working closely with internal game development teams and key mobile distribution partners to drive Scopely’s distribution and growth strategy globally.

  • Support and grow global business relationships with Tier 1 Strategic Mobile Distribution Partners.
  • Global Distribution & Digital Storefront Owners - Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Samsung, Huawei, etc.
  • Manage the processes by which the entire organization works to maximize the potential of our games with our strategic partners’ teams (Platform Best practices, Minimum Technical standards, etc).
  • Manage merchandising efforts for our portfolio of games as well as new game launches from start to finish on distribution platforms
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the Partnerships team to facilitate efficient decision making.
  • Assist with creative positioning, pitch strategies, and presentation materials for existing and prospective strategic partners in order to maximize the visibility of Scopely’s games and initiatives online and offline.
  • Maintains calendar and requirements for all partner-related deliverables and events
  • Collaborates with growth and analytics teams to provide timely recaps and case studies to partners.
  • Capture meeting agendas & priorities, record and distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on deliverables with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct market-based and strategic research to provide thought leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Track the performance of our publishing efforts collaborating with partners.
  • Coordinate with internal functional team members to ensure the delivery of continuous and effective product merchandising and promotional opportunities for Scopely’s initiatives.
  • Collaborate to ensure our amazing roadmap of mobile games receives world-class merchandising placement on the mobile storefronts, throughout the product lifecycle - both at and after the initial launch.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of Business Development / Partnership or Account Management experience
  • Experience working directly with Apple, Google, etc..
  • Gaming experience preferred
  • Passion & love for video games
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
  • Ability to analyze data to make data-driven decisions - skills in Excel and Google Sheets necessary
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - Keynote, Powerpoint, or Google Slides skills required
  • Graphic design experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required


For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $193,000 - $238,500, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
