Network Engineer (Global IT)

Job Overview

As a Network Engineer at Wargaming, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and security of our global IT infrastructure. You will be part of a distributed team responsible for all components of our corporate network, collaborating with various departments, and working with diverse technologies.

We are seeking for a talented specialist who is capable of multitasking and possesses the ability to communicate his thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively.

What will you do?

• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and manage corporate network infrastructure

• Implement new network-related features and services and optimise existing ones

• Perform planned maintenance activities (such as hardware and software upgrades or office migrations)

• Collaborate with adjacent teams to drive projects aimed at developing and enhancing company’s IT services

What are we looking for?

• At least 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking gear: N3K, N9K, ASR, ISR, Cat8k routers, Cat9k switches, ASA, IOS-XE and AireOS WLCs

• In-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN networking technologies and protocols: 802.11, STP, LACP, HSRP, VRRP, vPC, Stackwise, NAT, OSPF, BGP, DMVPN

• Solid understanding of network security principles and technologies: AAA (RADIUS/TACACS), VPN (IPSec, DMVPN, Cisco AnyConnect), network segmentation, 802.1x/MAB, firewalling best practices

• Basic Linux knowledge

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Fluency in Russian; English Intermediate or higher level (both written and verbal)

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Knowledge of Cisco ISE platform

• Experience in automating routine tasks with tools and frameworks such as Ansible or Python

• Experience with VoIP solutions (e.g. Asterisk PBX)

• Familiarity with NetBox IPAM/DCIM solution

• Experience working with Palo Alto firewalls

• Experience working with Meraki SD-WAN

• Any industry certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIE/CompTIA Network+/etc).
