Your mission
As a Technical Artist, you will be setting up efficient workflows for art production, providing support and training to artists and engineers, and contributing to asset performance and validation. Solve complex technical issues, actively participate in selecting the most suitable software and tools for game production, and play a key part in developing tools, shaders, and software to meet game requirements. Engage in researching the implementation of cutting-edge rendering techniques and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Researching and developing technical tools for a project and maintaining technical documentation
- Assisting in asset performance and validation
- Solving complex technical issues
- Researching the implementation of systems and developing systems to execute the needs of the games as well as Designing and implementing reusable systems
Requirements
Solid work experience within the game industry
Solid knowledge of game engine workflows, specifically Unity 2020.3+
Solid understanding of art, animation, and rendering pipelines
Excellent communication skills

About Paradox Interactive
Today, Paradox consists of both publishing and internal game development. We have a broad portfolio of games and own the most important brands, including Stellaris, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, Cities: Skylines, Prison Architect, Victoria, Age of Wonders and the World of Darkness catalog of brands.
