Nous sommes à la recherche d'un-e artiste IU senior talentueux-euse et expérimenté-e pour rejoindre notre équipe. En tant qu'artiste IU senior, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le-la directeur-trice de la présentation et serez responsable de la direction d'une équipe d'artistes IU et d'artistes techniques dans le développement d'expériences visuelles à travers les menus du jeu et du gameplay (HUD), tout en promouvant l'utilisabilité et l'expérience de l'utilisateur-trice avec notre équipe UX. L'artiste IU senior est sous la responsabilité d'un-e producteur-trice.

Responsabilités et tâches

  • En étroite collaboration avec le-la directeur-trice de la présentation, vous guiderez le processus de conception itératif et centré sur l'utilisateur-trice de notre jeu GAAS, et superviserez votre équipe dans le développement d'expériences visuelles à travers le jeu, y compris le HUD et les menus, tout en favorisant la convivialité et l'expérience de l'utilisateur-trice. 

  • Vous aiderez à établir une vision globale pour les fonctionnalités UI désignées, produirez des maquettes visuelles et aiderez à valider les concepts auprès de toutes les parties prenantes (conception, programmation, etc.). 

  • Vous serez responsable de la production d'actifs artistiques de qualité AAA pour l'interface utilisateur-trice, en adhérant à la présentation générale et à la direction artistique. 

  • Vous devrez intégrer le design IU/UX contemporain dans vos propositions de design IU. 

  • Vous promouvrez et intégrerez les meilleures pratiques IU/UX au niveau du projet et participerez activement aux discussions et validations au niveau des fonctionnalités.

  • Vous jouerez également un rôle de mentor-re auprès de votre équipe dans le cadre de leurs tâches respectives et favoriserez la croissance de l'équipe.

  • Vous collaborerez avec les disciplines concernées pour veiller à ce que toutes les exigences de conception, la priorisation du contenu et les exigences de mise en œuvre technique soient respectées. 

  • Vous participerez à la construction de notre ensemble d'outils d'interface utilisateur-trice en fournissant des commentaires constructifs sur le pipeline et les caractéristiques de l'outil, en favorisant l'avancement de l'ensemble des caractéristiques de l'outil pour la production future de jeux.

  • Vous vous tiendrez au courant des dernières tendances de l'industrie, des nouvelles normes et des technologies émergentes afin de garantir que nos jeux restent compétitifs et innovants.

Expérience et compétences requises

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en conception visuelle dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo

  • Forte éthique de travail, autodirection et vision artistique

  • Connaissance approfondie des outils de conception graphique (Photoshop, Illustrator et After Effects)

Position - Senior UI Artist 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UI Artist to join our team. As a Senior UI Artist, you will be working closely with the Presentation director and be responsible for leading a team of UI artists and tech artists in developing visual experiences across game and gameplay menus (HUD), while promoting usability and user experience with our UX team. As we’re making a GAAS Game, you will have a strong sensibility for modular and flexible systems to ensure long term viability for our UI features.

The Senior UI Artist will report to a producer.
 

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • In close collaboration with the Presentation Director, you will guide the user-centered and iterative design process of our GAAS game, and oversee your team in developing visual experiences across the game, including HUD and menus, while promoting usability and user experience. 

  • You will help establish an overall vision for designated UI features, produce supporting visual mockups, and assist in validating concepts to all stakeholders (design, programming, etc.). 

  • You will be responsible for producing AAA-quality UI art assets, adhering to the overall presentation and art direction. 

  • You will be expected to integrate contemporary UI/UX design as part of your UI design proposals. 

  • You will promote and integrate UI/UX best practices at both a project level, and actively participate in discussions and validations at a feature level.  

  • You will also act in a mentorship capacity to your team in their respective tasks and nurture team growth.

  • You will collaborate with relevant disciplines to ensure that all design requirements, content prioritization, and technical implementation requirements are met. 

  • You will participate in building our UI toolset providing constructive feedback on pipeline and tool features, driving the advancement of the tool feature set for future game production.

  •  you will stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, new standards, and emerging technologies to ensure that our games remain competitive and innovative.

Experience and skills required

  • At least 5 years of experience in visual design in the video game industry

  • Strong work ethic, self-direction and artistic vision

  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects) 

  • Proficient in videogame editing & development tools

  • Understanding of usability principles & information architecture

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members across multiple disciplines

  • Experienced in mentoring and driving a team of UI artists and tech UI artists

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong expertise of UE5 and strong interests toward UE5

  • Experienced in a LIVE game production environment

  • Knowledge in UI motion design
