Senior Community Manager (Russian) (World of Tanks)

Job Overview

This position is an opportunity to join an internationally respected company with a passionate and diverse team engaging with our vibrant and diverse player base. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a small team to manage the Eastern World of Tanks Community. You will work alongside other senior community managers to deliver a cohesive global publishing strategy to our players. The person who fulfills this role will be self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn and develop their skills, with support for development from the company.

This role will work alongside other members of the publishing team involving social media, competitive gaming, and live stream production.

Strong proficiency in effective management, and community management is highly recommended.

Reports to

Head of Community.

 

What will you do?

• Nurture a growing, enthusiastic, and loyal community around the World of Tanks product among the RU and UA speaking audience.
• Lead the team of community managers with specialization on eastern community of World of Tanks product.
• Use your knowledge of CIS gaming market and its community to successfully lead engagement with players on the appropriate platforms.
• Work together with your direct manager to adapt and ensure the correct execution of the overall publishing strategy while correctly and accurately representing opinions of eastern player base
• Represent the World of Tanks product as the face and voice of the product to our players through regular interactions on our community product channels and platforms.
• Identify active community members and help them create community building activities, content, and communities on top of the game to engage the player base both in and outside of the game.
• Represent the voice of World of Tanks player to product management.
• Report on specific community KPIs and player sentiment on a regular basis.
• All other duties that may be assigned by the Company and that would be included in the scope of the Employee’s qualifications

 

What are we looking for?

• Native Russian/Ukraine and excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of World of Tanks product.
• 3-year minimum experience working as a community manager or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PC gaming culture and its trends.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
• Analytical and reporting skills coupled with a good knowledge of industry standards for community KPIs.
• Able and willing to work alternating shifts and weekends as required by the business.

 

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Project management skills.
• Basic understanding of social media marketing practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of additional European languages and cultures.
• Experience in creating engagement events (online and offline) for players.
• Deep knowledge of the gaming industry, and other titles.

 

This is a Hybrid office offer with 3 days per week in our Prague studio
