Job Description

Communications :

1.  Build & orchestrate integrated External Communication strategies for his assigned projects:

  • Develop compelling messages & narratives
  • Build ROI- driven communication plans (challenges, objectives, tactics, messages, expected KPIs,...) & corresponding timeline
  • Craft related written communications : press releases, blogposts, Q&A, statements, pitch documents, ...
  • Orchestrate the production of supporting assets
  • Determine Comms push release strategy
  • In the case of Blogposts: Coordinate with Webprod for website integration
  • Handle activations with Press, CC, Pro Players & Talent to amplify comms efforts and strategic items (ie: events) when relevant 

2. Engage with the networks of Engagement Hubs to orchestrate global Comms pulsepoints across all relevant local channels - PR, SoMe, CC, ... :

  • Provide clear brief and guidelines with sufficient anticipation
  • Ensure cross fertilization and sharing (best practices)
  • Provide support & guidance

3. Oversee public speaking opportunities with official key speakers:

  • coordinate with media training team
  • evaluate itw/public speaking opportunities
  • coordinate organization
  • prepare adequate briefs and Q&A
  • follow up coaching ahead of the opportunity (in addition to the official media training)

4. Build & Orchestrate Internal Comms strategy to boost the department's visibility

  • In collaboration with Internal Comms team at HQ and GP when relevant

5. Anticipate, prepare and oversee communication crisis in collaboration with Corporate Comms when needed

6. Coordinate with BI team to help build quantitative & qualitative reports

7. Identify key learnings and follow up recommendations
Benchmark Comms best practices across all channels

8. Monitor news and inustry trends around esports

Community Engagement

1. Operate WW Engagement channels for his assigned projects:

  • Orchestrate the implementation of the SoMe part of the Communication plans
  • Coordinate with external partners and freelancers posting on the accounts (provide brief, guidelines, access, monitor,...)

2. Lead the strategy for built- in engagement tools of distribution channels in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders (ie: twitch subs)

3. Provide Insights on our communities:

  • consumption habits, trends, topics of discussions
  • reactions & sentiment 

4. Benchmark SoMe and Engagement best practices

5. Stay up to date on Platforms features and opportunities to engage with our audience

6. Support the Live XP team for Community Activations at his assigned events.

7. Initiate and lead ad hoc community engagement activations that serve the department business objectives

Qualifications

  • You have a first experience in orchestrating successful communication plans/ developing and executing communication strategies and activations using the right and most diverse channels.
  • Knowledge and prior experience with press, content creators, social media as well as crisis communication
  • You have already demonstrated achievements in a fast-paced, international work environment and have proven solid project leadership.
  • A good communicator and team player. Used to work with cross functional teams
  • Capacity to adapt with agility
  • You are a real expert who knows how to convince externally as well as internally with diplomacy and pertinence.
  • Complete fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Impeccable organization, time management and self-sufficiency
  • Rigor and a strong attention to detail
