Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications, and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.
Onsite, our Amsterdam Office also houses PUBG Studios which is busy with the development of an exciting new IP, currently known as Project “Black Budget”.
As a Senior Prop Artist, you will work directly with the Lead 3D Artist, and have ownership over the project’s Prop library, workflows, and benchmark assets.
Basic Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality assets and props at AAA quality. Help the world of the game come to life through the creation of believable, appropriate, and excellent Props to support environmental storytelling.
- Support the Environment Art team with the creation of hero assets, set dressing, tiling materials, geology assets, and various other props.
- Occasionally support the Character Art team with the creation of various Player Items related to gameplay.
- Mentor other team members.
- Ensure assets created follow the given art direction, are within the agreed production deadlines, and conform to the required technical specifications.
- Receive, give, and apply feedback effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Use a positive style of communication working with the Production team and Art Leads, keeping them informed of any dependencies, blockers, and cross-department challenges.
We are ideally looking for:
- Someone with solid experience working on AAA titles, and 1 shipped title.
- Experience working in Unreal Engine.
- Experience in more than one type of prop/workflow (Materials, Hard Surface, Organic, etc.)
- A portfolio showing expertise in creating high-quality props.
- Experience in Blender is a plus, but not a must.
- Excellent communication skills.
