CS Senior Project Manager

Overview

ZeniMax is seeking an accomplished and exceptionally organized Senior Project Manager to join our esteemed Customer Service Team. This role is pivotal in supporting our family of studios, which is responsible for creating some of the industry's finest games. We are seeking an individual with superior communication skills, a proven ability to adeptly navigate evolving project scopes within a dynamic environment, and an extraordinary talent for fostering cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a feature roadmap and manage the associated project schedule to deliver successful customer service solutions in collaboration with key studio and business stakeholders
  • Engage in proactive risk management, identifying and communicating blockers or risks that may put project delivery at risk, and support the determination of risk mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate prioritization of tasks with key studio stakeholders and business partners
  • Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with key studio stakeholders and business partners
  • Lead readiness and project status meetings ensuring alignment on all tasks, upcoming dates, and deliverables
  • Maintain awareness of new technology and industry best practice as it pertains to project management
  • Identify and evangelize strategic partnership opportunities and areas of experience improvement
  • Regularly review and maintain an interdisciplinary competitive analysis of Support best practices 
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality of privileged material and business information
  • May be assigned other project work, as needed, including internal customer service tool projects

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience managing short-term and long-term projects, preferably in a customer service or game development environment
  • Experience in both agile and waterfall, with an understanding of the pros and cons of each
  • Success managing project activities with teams of 8 or more people, located in 3 or more geographic locations
  • Thorough understanding of requirements gathering and scope definition processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects of varying sizes under deadlines
  • Ability to draft succinct and meaningful presentations to demonstrate command of material and departmental expertise

Salary Range

Senior Project Manager - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $170,000 per year.

           

ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are not guaranteed.
