About the position
我们正在寻找一名初级技术美术师,以支持我们的团队每天的技术问题,并帮助建立新的项目。 理想的候选人需要了解美术制作,IT以及编程;并且能独立,及时地发现任何问题。运用你的技能,以确保美术师的软件,工具和脚本,能够让他们完成工作。你将与美术师与美术总监密切合作,满足他们的制作需求。 你将成为经验丰富的TA团队的一员,将会得到许多经验分享。在工作中,你会接触到不同种类的技术和工作流程,有很多的机会来扩展你的技能! 

We are looking for an entry level technical artist to assist our teams with daily issues, and to help with setting up new projects. The ideal candidate is a generalist with knowledge of art production topics, IT topic and programming topics. You are independent and keep an eye open for any problems. You use your many skills to ensure the artists have all the software, tools and scripts to get their work done! You will work closely with artists and art directors and ensure their production needs are being taken care of. You will be part of a team of experienced technical artists, who will share experience and help out if deeper knowledge is required. During your work you will be exposed to various workflows and technologies, giving you many opportunities to expand your skills
Responsibilities
* 提供美术团队日常的技术支持;
* 创建基本的自动化脚本, 3D应用程序内外的小工具;
* 安装美术软件,插件和脚本;并提供故障排除;
* 支持制作人和组长进行工具的规划与部署; 
* 对美术团队进行特定工具的使用方法的培训。 
* Day-to-day support of our art teams – inside and outside the 3D application.
* Creation of basic automation scripts, small tools inside and outside the 3D application. Installation and troubleshooting of art software, plugins and scripts. 
* Supporting producers and team leaders in planning deployment of tools.
* Train art teams in use of specific tools and best practices.
Qualifications
职位要求: 
* 良好的口头和书面沟通能力 
* 良好的英语和普通话能力 
* 熟悉Maya或3D Studio Max 
* 熟悉材质球的运用 
* 了解3D Studio Max脚本,MEL或Python 
* 了解MS Windows和IT故障排除技能 
* 了解版本控制系统,e.g.Perforce 
* 能够独立解决问题,积极主动的态度,表现出主动性 

 有以下经验优先: 
* DOS批处理编程或Windows PowerShell脚本
* 网络知识(例如Windows, TCP/ IP)
* 参与过已上线的游戏项目 
* 游戏引擎的经验,e.g. Unreal, Unity. 
* 了解绑定和动画

 Qualifications:
* Good verbal and written communication skills. 
* English and Mandarin Chinese skills required. 
* Good knowledge of Maya or 3D Studio Max. 
* Basic / Intermediate knowledge of 3D Studio Max script, MEL or Python. 
* Experience of making materials. 
* General MS Windows and IT troubleshooting skills. 
* Knowledge of revision control systems, such as Perforce. 
* Indepedent, Pro-active, showing initiative. Bonus: 
* DOS Batch programming or Windows Powershell.
* Networking knowledge (e.g. Windows, TCP/IP). 
* Shipped a game as technical artist. 
* Game engine experience, e.g. Unreal, Unity. 
* Rigging and animation knowledge. Portfolio: 
* A portfolio is required for this position. There is no specific format, but it has to be representative, showing your skills and experience. 
* When submitting individual pieces scripts, images or videos, you must submit a document explaining your contribution and the nature of the piece, e.g. title, software used, professional or personal work, purpose of the script, etc. 
* Please make sure code is well documented (Chinese or English, English preferred).
