To this end, we are seeking an experienced Senior Game Design | MY who can join our team and help pave the way towards our new goals.
- Maintain the vision of projects set by the Design Directors and lead designer
- Design and own mechanics, systems, and content from concept to implementation
- Find creative and practical solutions that achieve intended experiences that fit within a project's scope.
- Advocate for designs and motivate the team to work on them
- Create clear and concise design documentation and support design work in multiple projects
- Drive alignment across multiple game design and project stakeholders and help guide the implementation efforts.
- 3-6 years experience in the games industry
- Has worked on at least two commercial projects
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- An in-depth knowledge of various game systems and the motivations and mechanics that govern them
- A strong understanding of players’ behaviors
- A firm handle on being able to write design documentation concisely and to the full extent of what’s required for a design to be carried out.
