Position Title: Associate Art Director

As an Outsourcing Manager, you will be reporting to the Producer for Character and Environments and work with them and the Art Leads to support production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build several partnerships to deliver concept art, characters, assets and oversee parts of the outsourcing budget.
  • Work with the Development Directors to manage, and document status of outsourced art assets.
  • Work with the Art Directors and Art Leads to communicate the expectations for visual quality of in-game art with external teams.
  • Organize and prepare outsourced art assets for art reviews with the Art Director.
  • Be the first line of feedback to vendors and course-correct to appropriate direction.
  • Document and share Art Review feedback to the external team.
  • Depending on your profile :
  • Check technical validity of art assets coming in from outsource artists.
  • Prescreen visual quality of art assets coming in from outsource artists.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional industry experience in Art, Project Management, Asset Production, with at least one shipped game under your belt.
