ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Technical Producer, you will supervise a specific and important section of our game production process. Making sure goals are clear, the development team is on the road to deliver on the vision, proper production management methods are in place, and game quality expectations are met. This position will be dedicated to Technical Art with close collaboration with the Technical Art Director and Head of Technology.

The Producer role is that of a Service-Authority to their team. The Technical Producer role is even more-so as you are to listen to the other department's needs, collect feature requests, combine them with the overall Production goals and help your team build and pitch solutions. You are expected to reach out and engage with your Producer peers as well as their departments as needed to gather information and achieve your objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical planning representative within production team 
  • Close cooperation with the Technical Art Director, Lead Technical Artist, Head of Technology and Lead Producer
  • Be heavily involved in project planning, scheduling and roadmaps creation
  • Coordinate tech teams’ work on a daily basis
  • Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency and communication within the technical teams, and also to the rest of the studio
  • Workflow improvements and production optimizations in collaboration with the Lead Producer
  • Participate in the interview process for the TechArt team
  • Risk management within the tech team
  • Work with all teams to understand their top technical challenges and tooling needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of production experience
  • 3+ years of technical-related project management experience
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude; Strong preference to applicants with development (programming, technical) and/or game development experience.
  • General experience with project management tools
  • Basic knowledge of 3D and 2D content pipeline production processes.
  • Basic awareness of optimization and asset improvement workflows for media production and/or game production. 
  • Workflow organization and prioritization ability.
  • Deep understanding of the game development and software development processes from conception to post-launch support stages
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English
  • Strong conflicts resolution skills
  • Passion for video games

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Basic knowledge of C++ 
  • Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine
  • Professional experience as a Technical Producer in a AAA/ AA game production or a comparable software production of similar complexity
  • Experience with the production of multi-platform games
