We’re seeking a talented and self-motivated Staff Accountant for our studio.

As our Staff Accountant, you will manage the day-to-day accounting processes, assist with financial planning and analysis for multiple projects of differing scales and help with other operational activities with our growing studio. Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
• Manage capital expenditures and reporting process
• Ensure that reported results comply with all accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Establish and implement a robust and scalable A/R and A/P system
• Prepare period end bank account and A/R and A/P reconciliations
• Establish, monitor, and maintain strong accounting policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity of financial data
• Support annual corporate tax filings and any financial audit processes with external auditors
• Lead the month-end close process including reconciliations, accruals and reporting
• Assist with corporate credit card account reconciliation and expense submissions
• Manage bonus and profit sharing bookkeeping, reconciliations and payouts
• Assist senior management in various ad-hoc analyses as needed

Skills

• 5 years experience in accounting - preferably in Software Development/Games
• Excellent grasp of financial accounting laws and regulations
• Impeccable ability to maintain confidential business information and professional judgment at all times
• Pro-level Excel skills; including data analysis and forward-looking modeling
• Experience with Quickbooks accounting software

In the United States, the standard base pay range for this role we have estimated is $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
