Sourcing Strategy & Planning Manager, Procurement

Electronic Arts Inc (EA) is looking for a Sourcing Strategy & Planning Manager with experience in internal partner engagement.

You will have extensive experience growing internal partner engagement, demonstrated strategic thought processes, and excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization. You will drive strategic category planning and develop complex sourcing strategies for respective categories to ensure EA gets the best value.

You will be an individual contributor in the Strategic Planning pillar of the Procurement team located in Orlando, Florida (although other locations will be considered in individual circumstances), reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning in the UK. In this new role at EA, you will build Strategic Category Support with a variety of internal departments, including Real Estate and Workplace Experience (Facilities). Embedding yourself into the category's leadership team and delivering value is crucial for success in this role.

Main responsibilities

  • Gather information to create spend analysis and sourcing project pipeline:
  • Partner with our Procurement Operations and Finance teams to analyze internal business partners' spend
  • Meet with our internal business partners to understand their long-term strategies, goals, and plans
  • Agree and prepare a deal calendar and a sourcing project pipeline for our Strategic Sourcing team
  • Listen to our internal partners requirements, advise them on best sourcing practices, and educate our key internal partners on the Procurement process to achieve alignment and proactive engagement.
  • Organize multiple business partner and support teams to engage suppliers at a strategic/enterprise level.
  • Partner with and influence business partner departments and build successful relationships
  • Communicate requirements to the Strategic Sourcing team to enable them to negotiate the best deals for EA.
  • Participate in Procurement and Strategic Sourcing teams initiatives to improve sourcing experience across EA.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years relevant Strategic Sourcing or Procurement Experience
  • Experience with indirect spend
  • Experience in Real Estate, Construction and Facilities is a bonus
  • Experience working within a US or European multinational company and remote teams
