Overview:

The Partnerships Analyst will be responsible for assisting the strategic partnerships team with analyzing data, creating reports, working with internal teams, and assisting external partners. Scopely is looking for someone who understands both the challenges that game developers face as well as what makes the best partnerships work.


What you will do:

  • You will be a member of the Strategic Partnerships team which focuses on Platform Distribution partnerships and IP licensing
  • Collaborate internally with other members of the BD team to help them with various projects, data analysis, creation of presentations, and working with internal teams to get things done
  • Report key metrics related to our platform partnerships on performance indicators such as downloads, revenue, updates, uninstalls, and featuring performance
  • Provide support for some of the largest partners in the gaming industry
  • Advocate best practices with the internal studio organization on various platform requirements
  • Keep tabs on industry trends and up and coming studios by obsessively analyzing the market and playing all the new games
  • Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results for the BD team


What you will need: 

  • Fluent in the English language (written and spoken)
  • 1-2 years of business development, partnerships, and/or free-to-play gaming experience
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • A solid understanding of the gaming space and how it is evolving
  • A love of games, and particularly free-to-play games
  • The ability to communicate in a clear yet conversational way, both written and verbally
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to relate to multiple perspectives
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach; we’re looking for a self-starter who is obsessed with improving the way we work with partners and how great games are made
  • A can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize, be flexible with changing priorities and multiple projects
  • Well rounded professional who can architect, analyze, and communicate information effectively
  • Proven comfort with large data sets and the tools to manage large data sets in order to facilitate a dynamic business environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
  • Experience working in the Google Suite and Slack is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R is a plus
