As an Integration Software Engineer, you will assist, support and partner with the game and game engine teams on bringing the latest version of the Frostbite Engine into various code repositories.  The Frostbite engine is the foundational technology on which multiple EA Sports properties are built, and your role in integrating improvements and new features will help provide outstanding experiences to our end-users. 

Your Responsibilities

• Integrate changes from the game engine into the game codebase.
• Resolve merge conflicts and fix code build errors.
• Debug and diagnose runtime issues across a variety of domains.
• Work closely with game development and game engine teams to resolve any issues caused by the integration.
• Work with Quality Verification to develop testing and build automation.
• Partner with game engine team to establish best practices to be shared among multiple EA titles.
• Document challenges and follow-ups for each integration.

 

Your Qualifications

• Experience with perforce concepts and good practices, specifically with integration workflows.
• Experience with large-scale game engines is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with C++.
• Great debugging skills.
• Experience in diagnosing and providing creative solutions to problems.
