About the job

We’re looking for an outstanding Senior Compensation Analyst to join Scopely’s Global Total Rewards team in our Culver City office. You will play a key role in our global compensation programs including base pay, incentives and job family architecture. The ideal candidate will be analytical, comfortable with ambiguity and look for creative ways to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.  


What you will do


  • Partners with Global Total Rewards team to develop compensation programs and policies to enable Scopely’s rapid growth and retain our top talent;
  • Participates in Scopely’s semi-annual compensation planning cycle; configures compensation system, audits data uploaded from ADP for accuracy, and liaises with Finance to agree budget allocations;
  • Supports semi-annual Scopely Incentive Bonus and GM bonus programs;
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition team and managers to review and benchmark ad-hoc positions as well as those proposed through semi-annual Work Force Plan to ensure that budgeted salaries and bonus align with both internal peers as well as external equity;
  • Conducts job evaluations, and completes job descriptions by partnering with People Business Partners to create and maintain library for all jobs as they are added to Scopely’s Global Job Catalog;
  • Utilizes external benchmarking system to perform competitive pay analysis, market pricing, and to conduct pay equity reviews;
  • Completes benchmarking surveys including Radford Global Technical Survey, Croner Software Games Industry US/International;  
  • Completes quarterly Radford Trend Surveys, analyzes and reports findings to People Team;
  • May maintain equity program by administering equity system, coordinating employee documentation, tracking employee grants, and preparing reports;
  • May conduct workforce analytics, reports and dashboards that support organizational strategy such as turnover analysis, headcount reports, and employee movement.
  • Stays current with market trends and ensures compliance with local country regulations as it relates to compensation.


What you need


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, with at least 5 years’ progressively complex relevant experience;
  • Experience with a global, private company with 1,000+ employees or larger preferred;
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong MS Excel skills required.
