Position Title: Software Engineer III

The Data Engineer III  will report to  Senior Manager- Data Engineering responsible for Company Operations Data Engineering. Join us in driving the next revolution in games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
  • Translate needs into data models Support long-term solutions.
  • Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.
  • Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with all regulations.
  • Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
  • Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams
  • Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
  • Troubleshoot and improve data systems.
  • Recommend solutions to improve database systems.
  • Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Educate staff members through training and individual support.
  • Offer support by responding to system problems.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 Year IT College Degree/Masters preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 7 years' experience in a similar role.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling.
  • Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
  • Expertise in Snowflake including advanced features and utilities.
  • Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
