Position Title: Director, Game Product Management

External Description:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Management to join us in the early stages of development of a new Cross-platform Game as a service.

Product Management is an essential piece of the leadership team in our development process. You will work in close collaboration with studio leadership, production, game design, UX, art, engineering and operations.

You will report to the Head of Product Management.

Responsibilities 

  • You will guide the business aspects of development, including monetization, meta-game and live operation, and will oversee the overall product strategy, becoming a market and genre expert
  • You will work with the dev team and partner teams to champion topics like security and moderation and create processes and tools towards improved time-to-player and long-term sustainability to run a successful cross-platform Game as a service
  • You will heavily leverage data analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor game performance, drive experiments, tune mechanics and identify new features & tactics to improve KPIs
  • You will develop and communicate reports/scorecards to internal and external stakeholders across EA
  • You will manage a wide group of stakeholders across EA, focusing on building relationships, understanding their needs, identifying overlaps, and promoting engagement and agreement on features and timelines
  • You will mentor and develop a team of product managers

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading and managing product management teams
  • Gaming background. Built or worked on several successful mobile or PC/Console products
  • Avid consumer of live service games – is inspired by playing them and is always thinking about how they can improve
  • Expert with a broad range of game monetization strategies
  • Experience developing framework for economy design and running economies for titles over multiple years in live service
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with rigorous approach to building products
