EA Create Audio is an award-winning team creating audio assets for titles within EA STUDIOS. Create Audio unites creative talents and technical expertise to create industry-leading audio through partnership, expertise, innovation, and uncompromising quality. There are many exciting projects underway and we produce progressive audio content for in-game products from multiple studio locations.

The Create Audio team has a full-time Development Manager (DM) opportunity. There are many exciting projects underway in our studios and we produce progressive audio assets for in-game products from multiple studio locations. The DM will report to the Development Director for SPORTS projects.

 

Role and Responsibilities

The role of Development Manager is dynamic and multi-faceted, requiring collaboration, solid project management skills, and someone who is customer service-driven. The DM will work in close collaboration with the other DM/Development Directors and Create Audio Management, in addition to supporting other Create Audio Department team members and many internal clients. The DM will oversee all project management responsibilities, manage scope, budget and resourcing for individual projects, in addition to people management.

 

Required Experience

• 3+ years Project Management or Project Coordination experience
• Work across all levels of an organization and multiple departments, in a distributed team from different time zones.
• Manage a team of Audio professionals
• Understand the creative process and its impact on the team's needs.
• Hire and onboard new hires
• People and career management
• Excel (can perform complex functions) - advanced or expert level
• JIRA (can perform complex functions and dashboards) advanced level.
