External Description:

The Studio Technology Group (STG) is a collection of teams reporting to the Head of Technology of EA Studios whose mission is to provide technical solutions, leadership and support in Cross-Studios Technical projects,  Engineering Community activities and Content and Developer workflows.

To further expand EA Studios technical communication and talent growth, we are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to someone who will join the STG Team and lead EA Studios Technical community activities.

 Responsibilities

  • Leadership role in organizing EA Studios Technical Communities– set up, facilitate and organize, and follow up on actions.
  • Design and facilitation summits/sharing sessions for Tech communities.
  • Lead organized workgroup activities focussed on improving Community Sharing.
  • Oversee practices and technology solutions that enable community sharing across EA.
  • Develop and deploy an engagement survey within Communities.
  • Creation of various larger scale sharing events/conferences.
  • Creation of video presentations/blogs around tech community areas to be communicated internally and externally.
  • Planning and coordinating new technical talent recruitment events/activities with Talent Acquisitions team.
  • Act as a EA Studios SE Community representative in various forums across EA.
  • Drive monthly/quarterly SE Community Leads meeting.
  • Organizing the events between different time-zones.
  • Quickly and effectively prepare and deliver community-related presentations for wide audiences throughout EA.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in subject related to technical communication, people/team development.
  • Experienced working with technology teams.
  • Proven record of building engineering talent/communities.
  • Experienced in organizing workshops/engineering events.
  • Experienced leading cross-functional teams and partners across complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated project management leadership.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of management.
  • Creative, self-driven.
