Industrial Toys is a AAA mobile developer founded by Halo veteran Alex Seropian. Our mission is to make games that are Mobile To The Core! We are working to bring bleeding edge FPS gaming to your phone. If you're interested in working with veteran mobile, console, and PC developers in creating new AAA experiences to reach billions of mobile players around the world we would like to hear from you!

Reporting to a Lead Engineer, you will work on the upcoming Battlefield Mobile release and other titles in the future.

Responsibilities

• You will write client implementation of server-driven features
• You will develop high load, massively scalable, highly available services
• You will Implement security best practices to keep user data secure and prevent cheating
• You will work with designers, engineering, and production teams
• You will apply server deployment and troubleshooting strategies that maximize uptime

Required Experience

• BS in CS and 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 1+ years experience in C++ and UE4 game engine / Blueprint
• Experience in design and implementation of gRPC or RESTful API
• Understanding of stable change management practices in a live service environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy solving technical problems

Bonus Experience

• Knowledge of Java 8 (Multi-threading, Non-blocking IO, CompletableFuture)
• Experience building large-scale web/game services
• Experience with NoSQL DBs (DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB) andSQL (MySQL, Postgresql) and caches (Memcached or Redis)
• Experience in containers like Docker and deploying code to cloud platforms like AWS, Google or private cloud
• Experience in Spring Framework (Beans configuration with annotations, Security, Spring Boot)
• Experience in game related cloud services (AWS GameLift, Playfab, Nakama) Building serverless applications(Lambda, Serverless, AWS Amplify)
• Experience with React or AgularJS
• Infrastructure management with Terraform/CloudFormation/Puppet
• Experience in any of C#/Kotin/Go/Python
• Experience in Unity
